One of the main concerns of pool users is the safety of children and pets, as it poses a great risk and they must be continuously supervised if the pool is unprotected and they could fall into the water. The strength of the bar covers allows you to walk over the cover avoiding falls and drowning risks.

Our safety covers are manufactured with the full guarantee of the quality of the materials used in their production. A cover superior in quality to most similar models on the market, as its polyester is 630 gr/m². Additionally, its fabric is reinforced by incorporating a ninth safety thread that strengthens the weave compared to conventional fabrics. This reinforcement called Pre-contrain ensures the covers have the European Manufacturing Resistance Guarantee.

The cover is tensioned through a series of ratchets placed across the width, providing great tension strength, adding significant security to the cover. The bar cover eliminates the risk of accidents, prevents anyone from falling into the pool, allowing you to enjoy it all year round with peace of mind. It also features a tensioner system that provides wind protection along the length of the pool.

A bar cover is also designed to be hail, branch, stone and any other unwanted element proof that might accidentally fall into the pool. Specific treatments are applied during manufacturing to prevent the formation of mould and algae, extending and guaranteeing the proper functioning of the cover over time and under extreme conditions; it is capable of withstanding temperatures from 30 to 70ºC.

The bar cover can be used both in summer and winter, unlike other covers it is the ideal solution for the whole year. Always keeping the pool protected will prevent dirt from entering the water while optimising chemical treatments and water heating, as it insulates, prevents evaporation and protects it from external agents.

This is a great hygienic benefit as it prevents pool water contamination from dust, leaves, branches, insects and other surrounding dirt. It also prevents the pH of the pool from being altered by mixing with rainwater, which negatively affects treatment by destabilising the values.

A cover that also helps with water heating during the swimming season, fully covering the pool basin contributes to maintaining the temperature overnight. Additionally, being an opaque cover reduces evaporation during the day, which also helps retain heat. This also increases efficiency if you have a heating system, as its activity is reduced, resulting in energy and cost savings.

Traditional winter covers are inconvenient for use during the swimming season as putting them on and taking them off is very laborious, whereas the bar cover will serve you all year round and can also be used during the swimming season, enjoying all its benefits and being able to uncover the pool easily and quickly whenever needed.

The bar cover is also very practical due to its ease of use and installation. Thanks to its crank winding system, one person can cover and uncover the pool without problems. It is ideal for elderly people or those with physical difficulties handling conventional covers, which are heavy and cumbersome and require at least two people to handle. However, for large pools, a second crank will be included and it is recommended to operate it from both sides simultaneously.

To calculate the size of the cover, 25 cm must be added to the length and width measurements of the pool basin. Thus, if the pool basin measures, for example, 8 x 4 metres, the bar cover should be 8.50 x 4.50 metres. The cover dimensions can be configured according to the size and shape of your pool, with a width from 3 metres up to 5 m, while the length can vary between 5 m and 10 metres (internal measurements of the pool basin).

The cover arrives perfectly made with its crossbars; you only need to place the different anchors around the perimeter so that the cover has the necessary tension.

The central tubes of the bar cover are 40 mm diameter aluminium with 2 mm thickness and 8 internal reinforcement ribs, in silver colour. The distance between them depends on the length of the cover, ranging from a minimum of 1.60 to a maximum of 1.90 metres apart. The cross tubes are very secure and at the same time have a very easy-to-use system thanks to their rotating crank system.

The winding crank is made of stainless steel as well as the 3 tension ratchets that each cover has. All necessary accessories are included with the cover: tensioners, ratchets, anchors, winding crank and straps.
