The 700 micron Geobubble solar blanket is the best bubble cover available to optimise the heating and climate control of a pool. It can increase the temperature of a pool by up to 8°C and is made of polyethylene.

Solar energy penetrates the pool water thanks to the translucent characteristics of the thermal blanket's reverse side. The GeoBubble system consists of a double bubble containing air. This bubble heats up with sunlight exposure, thus increasing the water temperature. The material is UV resistant, so it can be used directly under the sun all day long. Below, we show the operation and main benefits of the 700 micron GeoBubble Solar Blanket.

Water Temperature Increase of up to 8ºC

The more translucent a cover is, the greater the penetration of solar energy into your pool water. The 700 micron blanket takes advantage of this and, thanks to its surface and translucent reverse side, allows solar energy to pass through the material, causing a pool temperature increase of up to 8ºC.

Finishes of the 700 Micron Thermal Blanket

Our Thermal Blankets are made of polyethylene. Optionally, they can have welded seams and sewn reinforcements to extend the product's useful life. As you can see, the blanket is different on both sides. One side has a surface full of bubbles and the other side is smooth. Remember to place the bubble side in contact with the water for the blanket system to work correctly.
