Geobubble is a unique material scientifically designed to extend the life of thermal covers. Compared to a conventional bubble system, a Geobubble blanket can provide more than 25% longer lifespan.
Traditional bubble covers share the same design as packaging material, their quality is low and their lifespan is short. The thin points of this type of bubbles are very susceptible to breaking due to chemical damage and exposure to sunlight.

The 400 micron solar blanket features GeoBubble technology. This patented double bubble system offers many advantages over conventional bubble blankets.
They are more resistant to UV rays so they can be used during the day and under direct sunlight. They contain more air inside each bubble, which heats up with the sun, helping to increase the water temperature.
The 400 micron solar blanket comes in different models that vary in their finishes. With these, you will improve the quality of the 400 micron blanket and have the option to combine it with a reel to facilitate the installation and removal of the blanket.
Adding a trim to your blanket will provide extra protection on the edges, preventing wear from rubbing against the pool walls. This way, you can further extend the lifespan of your thermal blanket.

Composition and benefits of the 400 micron thermal blanket
400 micron solar blankets are made of polyethylene. They are from the GeoBubble brand and consist of bubbles that help retain your pool's temperature.
As you can see in the photos, one side of the blanket has bubbles. This side should be in contact with the water. Conversely, the smooth surface side should face outwards.
As mentioned earlier, you can optionally have the blanket partially or fully trimmed to extend the product's lifespan.

How the 400 micron thermal blanket works
Recommendations for using the 400 micron thermal blanket
It is advisable to store the blanket with a reel and cover it with an opaque protective cover.
If you do not have a reel, it is recommended to roll the blanket without folding it and store it in the shade after rinsing.
The blanket should be removed when the water temperature reaches around 28°C.
Do not unfold the blanket in direct sunlight or on grass.
To avoid bubble deterioration, do not put the blanket in contact with water for 48 hours after chlorination treatment.
Do not walk or lie on the blanket, do not swim underneath it.
Warranty of the 400 micron thermal blanket
This solar blanket model has a 2 consecutive summer seasons warranty against any manufacturing defect (material, welding). This warranty is full during the first year and applies if the protective cover is installed and the usage instructions have been followed.
