Redox Electrode
Replacement Redox probe electrode for your Redox measurement device. This electrode is specially designed and manufactured to analyse this parameter without interfering with the chemical reaction taking place. Unlike pH electrodes, which use a noble metal for analysis, this electrode model uses glass.
In water disinfection, besides chlorine or any other disinfectant product, there are other parameters that also play a vital role in the water's condition. It is very important to keep pH, temperature, free chlorine concentration, and redox under control.
Redox is a chemical process of oxidation-reduction of the electrons present in the water. There is a transfer of electrons between different reactants, resulting in an oxidation state. To control this process and avoid an unfavourable water condition, it is advisable to keep the redox electrode in good condition. It is recommended to replace it annually.
