Heliox UV LP Inox Astral
The Heliox UV LP Inox equipment from Astral is a residential pool water disinfection system using low-pressure ultraviolet light. It operates at a wavelength of 254 nm, optimal for eliminating microorganisms in your pool.
The pool water is exposed to the electromagnetic radiation emitted by the reactor inside the chamber, where the UV lamps with high germicidal capacity ensure the destruction of 99.9% of microorganisms.
This system achieves top-quality pool water disinfection with very low and efficient energy consumption, saving the use of chemical products and eliminating chloramines that cause bad odors and irritation of mucous membranes and eyes.
This product is made of stainless steel with the option to add pH/ORP control and has a capacity from 10 to 30 m3/h with a version equipped with a double lamp in the LP 30 and LP 30 pH/ORP models.
The automatic disinfection system Heliox UV LP Inox is the best water treatment for pools with very simple installation and low maintenance. Once the unit is installed, its operation is automatic and fully programmable with its control panel.
All available Heliox UV LP Inox models have the following features: 3 bar / 2 – 40 ºC / Inlet-Outlet: G 2” F / 230 Vac, 50/60 Hz.
Disinfection Mechanism by UV-C Radiation
The ultraviolet radiation emitted by the lamps of the Heliox UV LP Astral equipment generates a short wavelength of 200 - 280 nanometers, capable of destroying microorganisms by modifying their DNA and inhibiting their reproduction.
This process avoids any type of residue, reducing sand filter washings and diluting chloramines that cause bad odors and irritations to < 0.6 ppm.
UV-C light (200 - 280 nm) can penetrate inside the cells of microorganisms and destroy and modify DNA safely and without generating residues.
With a UV-C disinfection system, combined chlorine levels decrease significantly to < 0.6 ppm, also reducing filter washings and saving a large amount of water.
