Reef 240 Kayak with “Sit-on-Top” Design for Beginners

“Sit-on-Top” kayaks have the seat located on top of the boat, not inside a chamber. It avoids the uncomfortable feeling of confinement and facilitates manoeuvres and navigation turns.
Above all, the main advantage of this type of kayak is its “self-draining” design, which prevents the canoe from sinking. Also, in case of capsizing, since it does not sink, the passenger can easily free themselves from the inflatable structure.

Reef 240 Kayak Design
The Sevylor 240 kayak is inflatable, made with PVC and nylon reinforcement. Composed of 2 air chambers on the sides and 1 as the base floor. The chambers on its walls are interchangeable and have a bar design (compressed air: 0.1 bar/1.5 psi). The air chamber of the base has an I-beam design and is reinforced with fabric to achieve greater rigidity and protection (compressed air: 0.06 bar/0.9 psi).
It includes a comfortable detachable seat with adjustable backrest. Just behind the seat, a carrying mesh has been placed to carry any luggage you consider necessary during the trip. Other included elements are the footrest, a removable keel, and carrying handles.
Undoubtedly, the most striking feature is the transparent window integrated into the kayak material. It allows you to observe the seabed while travelling. A surprising and innovative inclusion that you will enjoy at all times.
