LED Pool Lights
The LED spotlights from Outlet Pool offer you the best results to illuminate and decorate your pool with the lowest electricity consumption. We provide you with white light LED spotlights and RGB spotlights, which can be adjusted to offer a wide range of colours. LEDs (Light Emitting Diode) are diodes that emit light in exchange for a small electric current. This way, we can achieve the best light performance with minimum consumption. We have several types of LED pool lights: Recessed and submersible spotlights, floating lamps that change colour, outdoor and garden seats, remote-controlled pool lights and even illuminated ice buckets for the most discerning. All our pool lights are designed to operate at low voltage with 12V alternating current. Installing 1 spotlight per 20m2 of water is the ideal way to set up this type of spotlight. It is advisable to point them away from the house to avoid glare. For any questions, do not hesitate to contact Outlet Pool.

Reviews of LED Pool Lights
What is LED lighting?
LED lighting (Light Emitting Diode) is a type of lighting based on a high-performance semiconductor diode capable of emitting light. Energy passes through this diode in only one direction, thanks to the two tips it has at the ends. Once the energy passes through, it is converted into light.
Thanks to this system, it is possible to provide the same amount of light as conventional bulbs. However, the difference lies in the lower electrical consumption used, representing a great advantage economically. Using a lighting system with LED lights means obtaining better luminous performance with low energy consumption.
Besides the savings it represents in the long run when investing in LED lights, this system offers several advantages in terms of use. It is a product that boasts a long lifespan, being able to exceed 45,000 hours of use. It is also a product made with certain chemicals that do not contain any toxic elements harmful to the planet, so LEDs are environmentally friendly and therefore ecological. Additionally, the heat emission they produce is minimal, so the level of wasted energy is really low, unlike incandescent bulbs. All these benefits and many more make this type of lights the best purchase option on the market.
LED lighting system for pools

Installing lights in your pool is a very good option to enjoy peaceful night swims under the starry sky. A completely different and more relaxed experience where you will immerse yourself in the intimacy of the night, enjoying a refreshing swim on warm summer nights.
You can install a system of LED spotlights inside your pool and achieve a soft and subtle lighting that will provide enough light to create that calm atmosphere you are looking for. Pool spotlights are characterised by their location and watertightness, as their installation is done on the walls of the pool structure, underwater. They are, therefore, a model of waterproof spotlights. However, if desired, there is also the possibility of placing them outside the water level, thus achieving a more intense luminous power.
They are suitable for any type of pool, whether built-in or above ground. The pool installation does not matter either, as they will be able to illuminate any pool that is fully or partially buried, and any model that is raised above ground. The location of the LED lights, whether inside or outside the water, will be according to the user's preference.
How to choose the most suitable spotlights for my pool?
When purchasing LED lights, it is most appropriate to inform yourself beforehand before making any purchase. There is quite a variety of LED spotlights on the market, which vary according to various parameters such as the type of light emitted and the different types of installation.
Another important aspect to consider is the quality of the LED spotlights. Choosing a high-quality spotlight model ensures greater efficiency and reliability, which translates into a much longer lifespan that will save you the trouble of frequently replacing them.
Type of light emitted
White LED lighting
It is a single-colour and static light, therefore, it belongs to the fixed light category. In this most basic type of lighting, we find warm white light and cool white light. Regarding the warm, it offers a more yellowish tone, creating a softer atmosphere with golden and tawny spectra. On the other hand, cool white light, as its name indicates, has a more bluish and pearly colour, achieving a clearer visible water result. The type of projectors that use white LEDs save energy consumption and boast a long lifespan.
RGB LED lighting
The great advantage of using RGB LED lights is the wide range of colours we can use to illuminate our pool. The diversity of tones available is very large, giving the user a wide range of possibilities to play with.
The colour mixing is achieved by combining the 3 primary colours: red, blue, and yellow. By adjusting the lighting intensity of each colour at different levels, a very varied palette of visible spectra is obtained.
Type of installation
LED spotlights with niche for pools
These spotlights are recessed into a hole in the pool wall. The spotlight has a body at the back, which is what is embedded in the wall. This rear part is what we call the niche. The cable for installation comes out from the same niche. The great advantage of these LED spotlights is that if they burn out, it is not necessary to change the entire spotlight; it is possible to change only the lamp. The material is more expensive, but when it comes to making these types of replacements, it is more economical. They are recommended for pools under construction or already with a PAR56 niche.
Flat LED spotlights for pools
Their main feature is that the back of the spotlight is completely flat. No hole needs to be made in the pool wall. The entire mechanism is in a small space wrapped by a round trim with flat electronics. This entire rear part is watertight. Within flat spotlights, there are also two different types:
Cross. These LED spotlights include a cross-shaped piece located behind the spotlight and serve to screw it to the pool wall. Only a hole is needed to pass the electricity cable. This type of installation is ideal for already built pools, which for technical difficulties cannot make a niche and depend only on being able to pass a cable.
Nozzle. These types of spotlights need a wall bushing piece (PN10). Similar to a niche. This nozzle is a wall bushing that is glued, and the spotlight screws into this piece. It is recommended for steel pools or new build pools that want a wall bushing installation.
Mini LED spotlights for pools
These LED spotlights can be found with niche and nozzle installation. Those with a niche have a very small rear part. They offer very soft lighting. They are designed for stair areas or zones outside the lighting area of the other spotlights. For example, for stair areas where the size does not allow placing the rest of the spotlights. Also as decorative spotlights. They are basic point light spotlights.
Benefits of installing a lighting system with LED spotlights
Low energy consumption
This advantage, mentioned earlier, is one of the most attractive features of LED lights. The energy savings from using this type of spotlights is very significant in terms of the latest technological designs. An innovative advance created to be very attractive to buyers due to the low economic cost of its use.
Temperature
The light emitted by LED spotlights is cold type, which means it does not emit the typical heat of incandescent bulbs. This is an advantage regarding durability, since the higher the temperature reached, the more likely problems that damage the product will appear. By avoiding these high temperatures, LED lights enjoy a longer life.
Sharp lighting
The luminous efficacy of this type of spotlights is given by the lumen-watt ratio, that is, a spotlight will be more powerful depending on the number of lumens used per watt. They boast high efficiency that allows them to illuminate areas with great clarity. Therefore, they are an excellent purchase option to provide brightness to the pool or garden area and allow visibility in a night environment.
Customisation
LED lights allow varying the lighting design to the user's complete liking, in order to create a more personalised atmosphere adapted to their interests and needs. Besides the location of the spotlights, the consumer can choose the type of lights with which they want to illuminate their pool or garden and the atmosphere they want to create.
Installation of LED Spotlights
Opting for a lighting system with LED lights implies very attractive benefits, both for the user and for the pool area. Besides being a product with a very competitive price on the market, the reduction in the electricity bill will be very appealing. Not to mention the ability to create different atmospheres in your garden or terrace, enhancing the possibilities offered by coloured spotlights.
If you have decided to purchase practical LED spotlights but currently have a more traditional lighting system, do not worry, below we leave you an explanatory video on how you can replace the old bulbs with the LED model.
