Vortex OV 5480 iQ Electric Pool Cleaner
The intelligent OV 5480 IQ pool cleaner with remote control is connected to a Wi-Fi network and can be controlled via a smartphone. Full cleaning control, even remotely. An easy way to keep your pool water in perfect condition. Simply plug the robot in, select the desired cycle choosing from several cleaning cycles: floor only, floor/wall/waterline, or waterline only, depending on the preferred duration from 0h30 to 3h30. After programming, it submerges in the pool to perform the cleaning, removing all debris. Equipped with an easy-access rigid filter cartridge that opens at the top. The cleaner can be emptied once the job is done and be ready for the next use. It is very suitable for mosaic tile, liner, polyester shell, reinforced PVC, and painted concrete surfaces.
All-terrain agility, the OV 5480 iQ is equipped with 4-wheel drive traction and can adapt its agility even in the most demanding pools. Obstacles are easily overcome, and it adheres perfectly to the pool wall, regardless of its surface.

Lighter when water is drained, thanks to the patented lifting system function, so you no longer need to worry about this issue. With the help of the lifting system technology, it can push water out through the powerful rear water jet, allowing the cleaner to exit the pool.
The Vortex cleaner’s anti-tangle cable (4WD series) features a swivel device, an automatic rotation system that prevents the cable from tangling as the cleaner moves in the pool and stops knots from forming. This optimises cleaner efficiency and simplifies robot storage in the water.
Various different cleaning programmes allow the pool robot to clean fully automatically. Thanks to the practical swivel system, cable twisting is prevented, while significantly improving cleaning performance. It rotates around itself during cleaning and prevents cable tangling.
Constant Power and Super Cyclonic Suction of the Vortex OV 5480 iQ Cleaner
The patented cyclonic technology does not lose suction power, meaning 2 motors can generate a strong vortex in the filter to keep dirt suspended and prevent it from sticking to the filter. It has hybrid and full traction and adheres perfectly to all types of paint.
With the help of the built-in cyclonic system, the dust collection function can create a large-diameter vortex inside the filter to keep all particles suspended, thus preventing them from sticking to the filter wall, greatly reducing the chance of the filter clogging. It maintains super suction power and high constant power performance.
Developed by Zodiac® engineers, these were the first cleaners on the market to use this patented technology that prevents filter clogging.
The suction power is excellent and the cartridge filter capacity is 5 litres. It also has a wide suction nozzle that can vacuum debris more effectively.
The easy-care filter can be accessed from above and is easy to clean. Thanks to the convenient rigid filter, you don’t have to touch the dirt.
