The Zodiac MX6 range pool cleaner is a hydraulic cleaner ideal for above-ground and in-ground pools measuring up to 10 x 5 metres. The hydraulic robot includes the intelligent navigation cleaning system X-Drive, making the cleaner suitable for pools of all shapes: oval, rectangular, round or unconventional shapes, and it also works effortlessly on all types of surfaces such as tiles, mosaic, concrete, and fiberglass.
With a very solid build, great design, and efficiency, the MX6 hydraulic robot is a model that optimises the energy supplied by your filtration pump as best as possible. It operates with a motor from 3/4HP and moves exceptionally well in your pool. With a powerful internal propeller, it covers a cleaning diameter of about 36 cm, and the Zodiac MX6 hydraulic robot also drives a mechanical turbine which in turn moves the traction belts. How does a hydraulic pool robot work?
A hydraulic suction pool cleaner is very simple to operate. They do not rely on electronics or electricity, making them energy-saving devices. These mechanical robots connect to the skimmer or a dedicated suction point in your pool. The power of the pump installed in your pool allows water to be sucked in to move the robot, while internal propellers also move to vacuum debris that may be on the pool floor. The debris can be stored in an additional pre-filter that can be purchased, such as the Cyclonic leaf collector, to prevent dirt from reaching your filter or skimmer.
They are usually made with a single body, and the hoses in most models include 12 sections to cover about 12 metres of pool length. They are very easy to assemble, but it is important to have at least a 3/4HP pump and especially to avoid air leaks and kinks in the cleaner circuit, as sometimes it will not suction properly if this occurs.

The MX6™ navigates very precisely and efficiently. Its movement is driven by highly resistant and grippy caterpillar traction belts. Alongside the traction movement, a powerful propeller inside the robot moves to collect debris it passes over.
The belt drive system ensures perfect stability and traction in all pools regardless of their lining. The robot systematically changes direction and makes turns. Thanks to this, the MX6 pool cleaner provides high-quality performance and cleaning.
