Intex Ozone and Chlorine System
Water disinfection equipment for above ground pools. Dimensions of the filter pump with the tubes installed 50x112x32cm. It generates 11 grams of chlorine per hour and ozone 150 grams per hour. Additionally, the saline chlorination system features an LED display with full control of the equipment.
What is the Krystal ozone/chlorine system?
It is the system that combines saline technology with ozone. Common salt (sodium chloride) is made up of two elements, sodium and chlorine.
During the installation of your Ozone and Saline Chlorination System, a measured amount of salt is dissolved in the pool water to make it slightly salty.
The pool water flows through the electrolytic cell of your Ozone and Saline Chlorination System to produce chlorine. The chlorine begins to destroy bacteria, algae, as well as oxidise other organic materials immediately.
Ozone is generated by extracting air through oxygen cells, which convert it into ozone molecules. The ozone gas is introduced into the pool water circulation using a venturi-type injector.
The water passing through the injector creates suction that draws the ozone gas into the water. The ozone dissolves in the water. Ozone can oxidise some contaminants and most bacteria.
What filtration do I need?
The Ozone and Saline Chlorinator System requires a separate sand filter capable of providing a flow between 5,680 l/h and 15,140 l/h for the water to circulate and function properly. Motor power of 125W.
The Ozone and Saline Chlorinator System will not work if the Filter Pump is not running. Make sure to program the Filter Pump (or start it manually) to operate starting 5 minutes before the Ozone and Saline Chlorinator System and ending 15 minutes after the Ozone and Saline Chlorinator System.
Where should I install it?
The Ozone and Saline Chlorinator System should be installed as the last piece of the pool equipment on the water return line to the pool. This location will extend the lifespan of the titanium plates.
