For those seeking a self-improvement challenge, to enhance their technique and, above all, to keep having fun on the water.
Inflatable SUP boards may seem less attractive than rigid models due to their flexible material. However, with current technologies, the results achieved in board manufacturing and design are superior, offering quality and high performance.
They have little or nothing to envy to rigid SUP boards. In fact, there are many advantages that make them a very attractive purchase option. Their affordable price makes them more accessible for people who want to try paddle surfing but do not want to invest in a more professional model. Their ease of inflation and deflation allows you to take them anywhere without requiring extra space. And storing them will not be a problem either.
The Super Turbo 14’ model will swiftly glide over the water thanks to the board’s architecture and design. Its size and shape are fundamental in deciding how fast the board will sail. The narrower the board, the faster the progress and the fewer strokes needed to cover more ground. With less board surface in contact with the water, less effort is required to move. With a length of 427 cm (14’), the Super Turbo 14’ model is ideal for Downwind practice.
Downwind translates as “With the wind”. It is a Paddle Surf practice where the surfer takes advantage of the wind and wave force in favour of the board. They move in the direction of the wind and current to cover long distances in less time and with significant energy savings.
It is important to highlight that in this type of competition, where a start and finish point are agreed upon, weather conditions can change. Therefore, the wind direction may fluctuate and affect race performance. It is advisable to do a Downwind route as a team.

Super Turbo 14' Inflatable SUP Board for Competition
Nose
In the SUP world, the front part of the Super Turbo 14' board has a Pin Nose style, meaning a sharp tip. This type of nose is very common in Race or Touring boards as it facilitates movement through the water. The sharper tip cuts through the waves as it moves, providing more speed. However, by reducing the surface volume, it also results in a loss of stability for the user.
Tail
The Tail of the Super Turbo 14’ board has a square shape (squash). This is the part of the board where the surfer applies pressure when pivoting, providing speed, stability, and control. Having more volume than the nose, it allows better control over the board. It is one of the most popular tails as it favours tight turns without losing much speed.
Volume
The Super Turbo 14’ inflatable board has a volume of 315 L. This is an indicator that helps the user choose the SUP board model that best suits their weight. To know which board volume to choose, you should calculate the surfer’s weight plus the approximate weight of extra load (luggage, additional passengers, pets…) and multiply it by 2. Specifically, the Super Turbo 14’ model allows a maximum weight of 130 Kg.
Expanded Elastic

Patented TTS Drop Stitch Technology
Coasto’s technology for manufacturing their SUP boards is superior to the competition due to the techniques used and the material employed. Usually, and with the purpose of gaining rigidity, inflatable boards are made with a double layer of PVC joined by glue. Coasto has opted for an innovative technique that fuses two thin layers of PVC by heat, achieving rigidity without the extra glue layer, reducing the board’s weight. Additionally, it incorporates a 4 mm thick EVA layer between the plastic layers, increasing paddling comfort.
Super Turbo 14’ Double Chamber Model
The Super Turbo 14’ board is available in a basic version and a double chamber version. The second air chamber provides extra safety for the board and the surfer, as in case of any damage or puncture, the board maintains its shape and structure thanks to the backup chamber. You won’t be at risk if your board suffers any breakage during your journey; you can paddle back home thanks to this safety feature.
