PVC Butterfly Valve Classic EPDM Series
The Classic PVC EPDM series butterfly valve produced by Cepex features a galvanized steel shaft. The manufacturer offers the highest warranty for the valve, which can transfer liquid under pressure. At Outlet pool, we have various models from Ø63 to Ø250 mm, so you can choose the one that best suits your needs.
All valves are made with polymers that have high mechanical resistance, temperature tolerance, and chemical reactivity. This is a compact valve. Cepex offers a range of PVC butterfly valves that are very suitable for fluid control in the smallest spaces. They can withstand a variety of inorganic substances, the components will not corrode chemically, and they have ideal conduction characteristics.
You can choose different standards (ISO / DIN, ANSI / ASTM, British Standard, JIS).
Specific Details of the Classic Series Butterfly Valve
One-piece door seals provide the highest degree of sealing to completely isolate the object from the liquid, used as flange seals on both sides of the valve. Flange installation is easy to disassemble and replace parts. There are two O-rings on the shaft to better separate the fluid and the shaft. Only plastic parts contact the fluid to avoid corrosion issues. The friction pad seal and durable ergonomic handle can reduce operating torque.
The trigger handle and zigzag dividing line are set in (7 positions), which can protect the selected position. The high wear-resistant damper has a very long service life and can withstand abrasive elements such as sand. Lightweight, it reduces the workload required for processing, simplifying installation and maintenance.

Operating Torque Table of the EPDM PVC Classic Series Valve
The torque value is determined at nominal pressure (PN) and 20 °C under factory conditions. Installation and operating conditions (pressure and temperature) will affect these values, and certain safety factors determined in fatigue tests performed at the factory must be considered for calculating the actuators required to automate rotation.
